Glen Eden is about 10 miles south of Corona, California in the foothills of the Santa Ana mountains. These mountains block the coastal clouds and fog so it’s typically warmer, drier and sunnier than areas closer to the coast. It’s an easy hour drive from most of Orange County, Riverside and San Bernardino and only 90 minutes – two hours from the Los Angeles area. Although suburban sprawl has come within a few miles of the resort, it remains isolated enough that you’ll feel you’re in another world once you pass through the gates.
Winters can be cool or quite warm, with daytime highs in the lower 60’s to the mid 70’s and even warmer during Santa Ana winds. An indoor heated pool and clubhouse allow year round nude activities. Spring and fall bring warm days and cool nights, while summer days are often in the 90’s, with beautifully warm evenings.
Theres plenty of activities and a full time
recreation manager to make sure there’s always something going on. Some of the most popular things include:
Hiking trails around the resort, or into the adjacent national forest areas
A huge outdoor pool, with lots of lounge chairs, as well as grassy areas under the trees for quieter relaxation
A year-round heated indoor pool that offers times for quiet lounging, or active water volleyball games
Six very well maintained tennis courts, four lighted for night play
Fitness center with an impressive range of exercise machines and workout equipment
Three pool tables
Volleyball court with a sport court surface
The recreation facilities are grouped in the center of the resort, and include the Sunshine Café which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with operating days and times varying with the season. There’s free Wi-Fi access near the clubhouse, a gift shop nearby and the Western Nudist Research Library operating on the grounds of Glen Eden with decades of magazines, news stories and pictures documenting the nudist and naturist lifestyle.
Glen Eden has a very full event calendar with frequent dances, theme parties, bands and events. In summer there’s even more activity with tournaments, live bands by the pool, concerts and more.
The tennis groups holds regular events and tournaments, and offers free lessons every Saturday at 2pm. Water Volleyball is very popular and played three times per day on Saturday and Sunday, and occasionally on weekdays.
