Camping Nude In California
If you think spending a day nude feels great, imagine spending the day, and the night, and the next day, and next night naked. You get the idea. You can do exactly that at a nude campground – and get lots of fresh air, exercise and fun while you’re doing it.
There are hundreds of nude campgrounds across the USA, with some of the best naked retreats in California. And if you think nude campgrounds might be primitive plots of dirt, think again. We’ve visited nude campgrounds with multiple swimming pools, tennis courts, recreation centers, restaurants and more. And of course, you can do it all naked.
Most are affiliated with national nudist organizations like the American Association for Nude Recreation, AANR, or The Naturist Society. Most of them offer a wide choice of camping from sites with complete hook-ups where you can park your RV and have power, water, (even internet access) to simple sites where you, your friends and tent can make camp and live naked in nature.
There are a number of nude campgrounds within easy drive of Los Angeles and San Diego including Glen Eden, DeAnza, Olive Dell and Deer Park. A bit further north in California are nudist campgrounds like Lupin, the Sequoians, Harbin Hot Springs and Laguna del Sol.
So if you like camping, but don’t like wearing clothes all the time, check out our reports on nudist campgrounds, get your gear ready and GO!
